As I mentioned before, here you are looking at my most recent crystal image, but through a “blue” filter. I did this to highlight the classic crystal lines and shapes. The actual crystals go from opaque to downright transparent (like pure ice). I may actually try using a little dye next time to create colored crystals, but I might do this with something other than sugar. This one is certainly good to click on and see in full size.

I’m a 6′4″ 300 pound 52 year old married man and miraculous survivor of a hematological (blood based) cancer. The cancer pretty much destroyed my left hip and upper left femur. As a result, I needed three major operations that eventually led to a total hip replacement. I’ve been married to a severely disabled (muscular dystrophy) woman for 32 years.
